– Gary K. Zammit, Ph.D., President & CEO of Clinilabs, and Director of the Sleep Disorders Institute, has been appointed to the Editorial Board of the journal Sleep Medicine.
Sleep Medicine is the official journal of the World Association of Sleep Medicine (WASM) and the International Pediatric Sleep Association (IPSA). The journal publishes a variety of manuscripts related to human sleep, including reviews, original research articles, case studies, and book reviews. It recently was ranked 33rd out of the 146 journals in the ISI Clinical Neurology category.
Dr. Zammit, a scientist and widely-published author, is pleased to serve on the Editorial Board of Sleep Medicine. “It is a privilege to have the opportunity to contribute to such an important publication in the field of sleep medicine.”
Dr. Zammit received his doctorate from the University of Toledo and completed his clinical internship and fellowship at the New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Zammit founded the Sleep Disorders Institute at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital in 1990, Pharmasys International in 1996. He founded Clinilabs, a contract research organization (CRO), in 2001. |
