PRESS RELEASES

CLINILABS AND SLEEP DISORDERS INSTITUTE PARTICIPATE IN THE LARGEST GATHERING OF SLEEP PROFESSIONALS – SLEEP 2008

Baltimore, MD (June 2, 2008) Clinilabs, Inc., a specialty contract research organization (CRO), will be exhibiting at SLEEP 2008 22nd Annual Meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies, LLC (APSS),  a joint venture of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Sleep Research Society.  This event is scheduled to take place from June 7th through the 12th at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

The SLEEP Meeting is known to attract the largest audience of sleep specialists from all over the nation and is the only meeting with scientific sessions and an exhibition hall focused exclusively on sleep medicine and sleep research.  Approximately 6,000 physicians, researchers, technologists, students and allied health care professionals are expected to attend; fifty percent of the attendees are sleep medicine specialists.

“This Annual Meeting is an important gathering for sleep medicine professionals,” stated Dr. Gary Zammit, President & CEO of Clinilabs, Director of Clinilabs’ Sleep Disorders Institute and a widely recognized sleep medicine expert.  “It provides access to the latest findings in sleep medicine and sleep research, and allows clinicians and researchers to interact and share their experiences in the field.”

Clinilabs’ Sleep Disorders Institute (SDI) is an accredited diagnostic and treatment center, specializing in sleep disorders and wakefulness in adults and children.  SDI’s Sleep Medicine Fellowship, accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), provides graduates with robust experience and allows them to pursue successful and rewarding careers in the field of sleep medicine.  SDI faculty members with substantial experience and knowledge in the field of sleep medicine provide fellows with training and supervision.  Applications for SDI’s Sleep Medicine Fellowship program will be available on site at Clinilabs’ booth and current SDI fellows will be present to answer any questions regarding the program.

Dr. Dmitriy Yadgarov, one of the current SDI fellows, will be presenting a poster on “Using Cyclic Alternating Pattern as a predictor of an optimal CPAP titration,” a study conducted to determine if CAP analysis support clinical decision of optimal pressure.

Clinilabs will have on-site registration for its investigator database, the Company’s primary resource for identifying qualified investigators for participation in multicenter clinical trials.  The benefits of registering as an investigator in the database include, but are not limited to, a free Web-based investigator profile, notification of new clinical trial opportunities, free Web-based training for investigators and site staff, and free continuing education (CE) credits for completion of clinical research training modules.
