DR. GARY ZAMMIT SERVES ON THE SLEEP AND ALERTNESS SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD FOR THE BIG SLEEP SHOW
– Gary K. Zammit, Ph.D., President & CEO of Clinilabs and Director of the Sleep Disorders Institute, is serving on the Sleep and Alertness Scientific Advisory Board for The Big Sleep Show, scheduled to take place on May 9th and 10th, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Illinois (outside of Chicago).
The Sleep and Alertness Scientific Advisory Board brings together advisors from the country’s top research and educational institutions to support an important event. As a member of the Board, Dr. Zammit’s role will be to provide advice and scientific expertise on informational topics that will be made available to the public through The Big Sleep Show.

The Big Sleep Show is dedicated exclusively to sleep and alertness issues affecting millions of Americans every day. During May 9th and 10th, consumers can come to the expo to learn about a range of products and services and receive samples from sponsors focusing on sleep and alertness issues. Consumers will also have a chance to meet and interact with industry and scientific experts, who will be able to answer their questions regarding health, safety, and quality of life. Over 10,000 consumers are expected to attend.
Dr. Zammit received his PhD degree in clinical psychology from the University of Toledo and completed his clinical internship and fellowship at the New York Hospital – Cornell University Medical College. He has served on the Scientific Advisory Boards for seven of the top 20 pharma companies, as well as multiple biotechnology companies. He is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Zammit founded the Sleep Disorders Institute at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital in 1990 and Clinilabs, a specialty contract research organization (CRO), in 2001.
