Clinilabs is now enrolling healthy adults for a research study for the development of a vital signs algorithm.
There is no cost to participate. Those who qualify will receive up to $1,675 in compensation plus reimbursement for travel. We encourage you to review the participation requirements listed below.
Qualified participants must be:
- Between the ages of 22-60
- In generally good health (history of high or low blood pressure allowed)
- Dark skin tones, never burns, easily tans
- Able and willing to:
- Attend visits in Eatontown, NJ
- Complete one screening visit, two study visits, and two phone calls
- Wear a wrist-worn study device, similar to a smartwatch
- Have an arterial line (A-Line) placed in the arm during each study visit while study staff monitors your blood pressure

- Participate in on-site pre-qualification testing including, but not limited to, ECG, and urinalysis
Most participants will be asked to complete one screening visit, two invasive A-Line study visits, and two follow-up phone calls. The first study visit will likely be completed on the same day as your screening visit, but may be rescheduled to a different day if needed.
Some participants may be selected for additional visits at the discretion of the study sponsor, based on study needs. These additional visits may be invasive or non-invasive (no A-Line will be completed). Non-invasive visits are optional. Your decision to participate in the optional non-invasive visits will not affect your ability to complete the main study.
Participants may receive compensation up to $1,675 for time and participation, plus travel reimbursement. Additional invasive and non-invasive visits are not included in this amount. Total compensation is dependent on the number of visits completed.
- $75 – Screening Visit
- $625 – Invasive A-Line Study Visits
- $50 – Follow-Up Phone Calls (after each invasive study visit)
- $250 – Completion Bonus (for completing 2 invasive study visits and 2 phone calls)
- $150 – Optional Non-Invasive Study Visits
- $80 – Roundtrip travel visit reimbursement, with receipts
