Study Schedule:
2 Screening Visits, 12-week Enrollment, 4-week Follow-Up. Total duration up to 22 weeks.
We are seeking generally healthy women who are dealing with sleep disturbances associated with menopause.
There is no cost to participate. Those who qualify will receive up to $3,450 in compensation plus reimbursement for travel. We encourage you to review the participation requirements listed below.
To qualify, participants must meet the following criteria (additional criteria apply):
- Between the ages of 40 to 65
- In generally good health
- Post-menopausal
- Have had a hysterectomy (surgical removal of the uterus)
- Currently experiencing sleep disturbances associated with menopause such as hot flashes that affect sleep quality
- Able and willing to:
- Attend a screening visit at Clinilabs location in Eatontown, NJ
- Return for visits over the course of 22 weeks
- Stay inpatient for 2 nights/ 3 days, three times during the study (total of 6 nights inpatient)
- Complete on-site pre-qualification testing including, but not limited to, ECG, urinalysis, and bloodwork
Participants may receive compensation up to $3,450 for time and participation, plus travel reimbursement. Total compensation is dependent on the number of visits completed.
- $300 for each overnight at the PSG lab (maximum 6)
- $100 for each site visit (planned 5)
- $50 for each phone visit (maximum 2)
- $28 for each eDiaries/questionnaires at home (maximum 11.5)
- $7 nightly for turning Sleep – iz on and off (maximum 100)
- $28 for returning the devices (sleep – iz and handheld ePro)
- Up to $100 travel reimbursement per visit, with receipts
