The Clinilabs Difference
Ambulatory Monitoring, Incorporated (AMI):
Clinilabs Drug Development Corporation and AMI are engaged in a long-term, strategic alliance that combines the World’s most sophisticated actigraphy recording devices (AMI’s Motionlogger) with the pharmaceutical industry’s leading core laboratory. AMI provides specialized instrumentation that can be used to unobtrusively and objectively record activity in studies of sleep, hyperactivity (ADHD) fatigue, circadian rhythm disorders, and other conditions. Optional features include measures of environmental light, temperature, and sound in ambulatory subjects. AMI’s Motionlogger is the most reliable activity recorder on the market, and is cited in more peer-reviewed publications that any other activity monitor in the World.
Epilepsy Study Consortium:
Clinilabs Drug Development Corporation is engaged in a strategic alliance with the Epilepsy Study Consortium (ESC). The ESC is a group of clinical investigators from academic medical research centers who are dedicated to accelerating the development of new therapies in epilepsy to improve patient care. The organization’s goals include building a partnership between academics, industry, and regulatory agencies and optimizing clinical trial methodology in order to responsibly speed new treatments to patients. The Clinilabs Drug Development Organization/ESC alliance enables us to provide high quality investigator sites for multicenter clinical trials that seek to enroll adults or children with epilepsy.

Neuroclinics – Expert Driving Safety Studies:
Clinilabs Drug Development Corporation has formed an alliance and close working relationship with Neuroclinics, a company supporting CNS drug development, including the assessment of driving safety. Neuroclinics is led by Dr. Joris Verster, an Associate Professor at Utrecht University, the Netherlands, and Adjunct Professor at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Verster has extensive experience as principal investigator for clinical trials examining the effects of drugs on driving, cognitive effects of food and (medicinal) drugs, alcohol hangover, and sleep and sleep disorders.
The Clinilabs – Neuroclinics alliance provides sponsors with the best of both worlds for driving safety studies. Clinilabs conducts driving simulator studies on its phase 1 unit in New Jersey, while Dr. Verster and his team of experienced professionals conduct on-road driving safety studies in the Netherlands. Our collective goal is to optimize assessment conditions, using both simulator and on road testing, to meet the specific needs of sponsors developing CNS drugs.
I must say I spend a lot of my time these days trying to persuade people that controlled trials are the only way to get information that’s reliable about drugs
